The characteristics of Angle aluminium.

Angle aluminium (also known as aluminium alloy angle bars) is a type of aluminium alloy profile with a "L" shaped cross-section.


Strong structural stability: The "L" shape cross-section can form a natural mechanical support structure, and its resistance to bending and torsion is superior to that of flat aluminum sheets of the same thickness. For example, 6061-T6 Angle aluminium (with a side length of 30mm and a thickness of 3mm), the bending strength can reach over 180MPa, which can stably support components such as equipment shells and shelf panels, preventing deformation over long-term use.


Flexible installation and adaptation: Angle aluminium can be cut to any length as per requirements. The surface can be pre-drilled and tapped. It can be connected to other components through bolts and rivets without the need for complex processing, significantly simplifying the assembly process. It is particularly suitable for prefabricated buildings, temporary supports, and other scenarios requiring rapid setup.


Balance of lightweight and corrosion resistance: The density of aluminum alloy is only 2.7g/cm³, which is more than 60% lighter than the steel angle of the same specification. This can reduce the overall load of the frame, and lower the transportation and installation costs. At the same time, the surface of Angle aluminium can naturally form an oxide film, or be strengthened in corrosion resistance through processes such as anodizing or spraying. In humid and outdoor environments, its service life can reach 8-10 years, far exceeding that of ordinary carbon steel angle steel.


Good appearance plasticity: After surface treatments such as sandblasting and wire drawing, it can be directly used as a decorative frame, eliminating the need for additional coating processes, thus achieving a balance between practicality and aesthetics.
