Aluminum plate is a type of metal sheet made mainly of aluminum, with different proportions of alloy elements added and then processed through processes such as rolling, forging, and stretching.

1. Physical properties:

Low density: The density of aluminum plate is approximately 2.7g/cm³, which is only about 1/3 of that of steel. It is lightweight, making it easy to handle, install and use, and conducive to achieving the lightweight of the product.

Low melting point: The melting point is approximately 660℃, which is relatively low compared to some other metals.

Excellent thermal and electrical conductivity: The thermal conductivity ranges from 200 to 240 W/m⋅K, offering excellent thermal conductivity and being suitable for heat sinks, heat exchangers, etc.; its electrical conductivity is also good, approximately 60% of that of copper, and can be used in fields such as wires and cables.

High reflectivity: It has a high reflectivity for both light and heat, and can be used to make solar reflectors, lamp reflectors, etc.

2. Mechanical Properties:

Adjustable strength: The pure Aluminum plate has relatively low strength. However, by adding alloy elements (such as copper, magnesium, manganese, etc.) or through cold processing, heat treatment, etc., its strength can be significantly enhanced. For example, the 7075 aluminum alloy plate has very high strength and can be used in fields with strict requirements for strength, such as aerospace.

Excellent ductility: The elongation at break of the Aluminum plate can reach 30%-50%. It has excellent ductility and can be processed into various shapes through rolling, extrusion, stretching and other techniques to meet the requirements of complex designs.

The hardness can be adjusted: Pure aluminum has a relatively low hardness. Through processes such as cold working hardening or heat treatment, its hardness can be increased to meet different usage requirements.

3. Chemical Properties:

High corrosion resistance: Aluminum readily reacts with oxygen in the air, forming a dense layer of aluminum oxide on the surface. This oxide layer can prevent the internal aluminum from being further corroded, giving it excellent corrosion resistance. It is suitable for applications in building facades, shipbuilding, and other fields.

4. Processing Performance:

High plasticity: It can be rolled, extruded, and stretched into ultra-thin foil materials of 0.15mm or thick plates of 200mm. The laser cutting accuracy is ±0.1mm. The error of CNC bending angle is ≤0.5°. It supports various special designs such as double curved surfaces and punching, and can meet the requirements of various precision processing.

Good weldability: Some aluminum plates, such as 3-series aluminum plates, have excellent weldability and can be welded using various methods.

5. Environmental Performance:

Excellent fire resistance: The aluminum plate is classified as A2 class non-combustible material with a melting point of 660℃. It does not release toxic gases at high temperatures and has excellent fire resistance.

High recyclability: The energy consumption for recycling aluminum is only 5% of that for primary aluminum production. It can be recycled and reused, which is beneficial for resource conservation and environmental protection.
